We are looking for an enthusiastic and qualified Science teacher with the confidence to teach 7-10 Science and stage 6 Biology and/or Chemistry.

This is a permanent full-time position commencing at the start of Term 1, 2026.

The ideal candidate must:

  • Appropriate teaching qualifications and accreditation in NSW
  • Ability to teach year 7-10 Science, and either Stage 6 Biology or Chemistry
  • Ability to cater to different learning abilities, including EAL/D
  • Evidence of innovative classroom practices
  • A high standard of competency and proficiency as a classroom teacher
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the integration of technology in the delivery of learning
  • An understanding of how students learn, effective classroom teaching strategies and the capacity to work with colleagues to continually improve teaching and learning
  • Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills, critical analysis and problem solving skills
  • Ability to priorities and work as part of a team

Essential Criteria:

  • A tertiary qualification in Education.
  • A strong commitment to the Christian ethos and values of the school.
  • A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).

Additional Information:

  • Salaries are currently paid above the Independent Schools NSW Teachers award.
