Welfare Assistants Needed - Primary School

Veritas Education are urgently recruiting two Welfare Assistants (TA1 level) to support a local primary school in Lancaster. These roles are ideal for anyone seeking part‑time, school‑based work during the lunchtime period.

⭐ Role 1: Welfare Assistant (TA1)

• Start date: Monday 23rd February
• End date: Easter
• Hours: 11:30am - 1:15pm
• Days: Monday to Friday

⭐ Role 2: Welfare Assistant (TA1)

• Start date: Thursday 12th March
• End date: Easter
• Hours: 11:30am - 1:15pm
• Days: Monday to Friday

About the Role

We are looking for friendly, reliable individuals to support children during lunchtime, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and positive behaviour. Duties include supervising pupils in the dining hall and playground and providing general welfare support.

What We're Looking For

• A caring, approachable nature
• Strong communication skills
• School experience preferred but not essential
• A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
