Catholic Education Diocese of Wollongong (CEDoW) comprises 38 Catholic schools with more then 20,000 students enrolled across the Illawarra, Macarthur, Shoalhaven and Southern Highlands regions.
Location: Catholic Education Office, Wollongong
The Director of Schools, Diocese of Wollongong, invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced personnel for this temporary part time (0.6FTE) position as a School Finance and Administrative Support Officer, with Catholic Education Diocese of Wollongong (CEDoW), until the end of January 2027.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This position working within the Finance, Facilities and Planning team exists to provide support to schools in the areas of finance and administration. This officer works as part of a team responsible for financial transactions and administrative processes on behalf of both schools and the Catholic Education Office under a centralised services environment.
Applicants will be supportive of the ethos and mission of Catholic Education in the Diocese of Wollongong and understand the key purpose of this position as a focused customer service role, ultimately serving the needs of the students and staff in our Catholic schools.
ABOUT YOU
- Extensive knowledge of finance and administration packages. Knowledge of TechOne and Compass is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service standards and maintain high stakeholder satisfaction.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as a team member who supports and works well with colleagues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and schedule work accordingly.
- Attention to detail in all work processes including administrative work.
- Experience working with Google Applications including Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendars and Gmail
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Certificate IV/Diploma in a finance related qualification
- Minimum three years’ experience in accounts receivable/payable in a related industry
WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE
This role is classified as child related work and therefore we require a working with children clearance to be completed prior to your commencement with us.
