Working closely with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal role in the strategic and operational management of the school, ensuring that its financial, administrative and operational functions run effectively.

The Role
As School Business Manager, you will take responsibility for the leadership and management of the school's business functions, including:
- Financial planning, budgeting and monitoring.
- HR administration and personnel management.
- Procurement, contracts and supplier management.
- Health & Safety and statutory compliance.
- Premises and facilities management.
- Administration systems and operational procedures.
- Supporting the Headteacher and Governors with strategic planning and business development.
This is a varied and rewarding role that requires someone who is highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a busy school environment.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Previous experience in a School Business Manager or similar operational leadership role.
- Strong financial management and budgeting experience.
- Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- A flexible, solution-focused approach with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience of school management information systems such as SIMS (desirable).
- A recognised School Business Management or finance qualification would be advantageous.

- Salary: Grade 8 - £36,363 to £40,777.
