School assistant Aftercare

Starting date 01/12/2025 till 30/06/2025 - 27hr30 p/week

Monday to Friday - From 12:30pm to 2:30pm & from 3pm to 6pm in the Aftercare department

As a School Assistant, you will be an active member of a team providing high quality education and care in an after care & vacation care service for children of preschool age.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Actively supervise and effectively communicate with the children

• Respond to the strengths, interests and needs of the children
• Contribute to the recording of the observations of children’s learning and development
• Supervisions in the playgournd aera and during canteen service

Desired Skills and Experience

• ACECQA approved Certificate III level qualification would be a plus
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an education and care setting
• Knowledge of and understanding of the National Qualifications Standards and Early Years Learning Framework would be highly regarded
• Speaking French would be a plus
