RISK AND COMPLIANCE MANAGER

Full-time, ongoing, immediate appointment or by mutual agreement

As part of the mission of St Joseph’s College, the Risk and Compliance Manager supports the College Leadership Team. This role is responsible for the operational and administrative support of risk management tasks relating to College policies, risk assessment and management, and compliance.

The Risk and Compliance Manager reports jointly to the Deputy Headmaster and the Director of People and Culture. This role is responsible for ensuring the College’s risk and compliance framework aligns with current legal and regulatory requirements. The successful applicant will have relevant qualifications and a proven record of effective implementation of risk and compliance.

Applicants will be able to further demonstrate:

• Knowledge of the CompliSpace platform and experience in a comparable environment would be well-regarded, but not essential.
• Ability to work independently, adapt and problem solve
• Exceptional processing skills and attention to detail
• Planning, prioritising and organising
• Strong collaboration skills and presentation skills
• Highly refined communication skills, both written and oral
• Knowledge and application of risk management trends in the education sector (ideal but not essential)
• High competence in the use of technology to enable the use of various compliance platforms
• Strong interpersonal skills and confidence to communicate effectively with colleagues
