About the Role
A Religious Education (RE) Teacher plays a vital role in shaping students' moral and ethical understanding while exploring various world religions and belief systems. Qualifications
- Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
- ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.
- ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration.
To teach Religious Education in a Catholic school (to be a Religious Education Teacher), a teacher must:
- Be Catholic;
- Provide a reference from a current Parish Priest; and
- Have completed or are due to complete Accreditation D – Teach Religious Education in a Catholic school in accordance with the Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Catholic Education, Canberra and Goulburn Policy.
