Holy Cross Catholic School, Kincumber is currently seeking an energetic and passionate Religious Education Coordinator on a temporary, full-time basis for 2026.

Specific Criteria

  • A practising Catholic who is able to lead the school community in faith, and build and sustain a culture of faith and learning that is Christ centred
  • Able to effectively lead others in developing knowledge and understanding of the Religious Education curriculum
  • Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, staff, the parish team and wider community
  • Demonstrates knowledge and insight when developing and co-ordinating creative liturgy and Social Justice initiatives
  • A NESA approved, qualified and highly competent Classroom Teacher who demonstrates contemporary pedagogy, embraces the Teaching Standards, maximises learning growth and who engages students to love learning
  • Effective in managing and facilitating safe and supportive learning environments with an understanding of positive student welfare practices
  • Works collaboratively and contributes positively as a member of the leadership team
  • Post-graduate qualifications (or working towards) in a related subject area (e.g. Leadership, Theology/RE, Educational Leadership) from an approved tertiary institution
  • Valid Working with Children Check

Holy Cross Catholic School, Kincumber was established in 1991. Three stages of the schools building project have since been completed with another stage under construction. The school is situated on the Central Coast, it has a current enrolment of approximately 281 students.
