The Opportunity

Qualified and experienced educators, committed to the ethos and practices of Catholic education, are invited to apply for 2026 Relief (Casual) Teacher opportunities.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2024.

About You

As a qualified Teacher you will be able to exhibit a wide range of exemplary teaching practices, which include:

• Creating and maintaining supportive and safe learning environments
• Teaching excellence in the Australian Curriculum and using research based best pedagogical practices
• Working collaboratively in a school team to plan and implement effective teaching and learning
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with all members of the school community
• Passionate and committed to high quality and innovative Catholic education.
• An understanding of and ability to contribute to the mission and values of St Patrick’s College as a Catholic school.

About Us

St Patrick’s is a Catholic co-educational Year 7-12 college of approximately 1,500 students with a strong academic culture that encourages individual students to develop to their full potential through a broad educational experience.  The College is structured into a three school model of learning, incorporating the Middle School (Years 7 and 8), Croagh Patrick (Year 9) and Senior School (Years 10-12).
