We are seeking a suitably experienced Psychologist to join our College Inclusion Support team on a part-time, fixed-term basis until January 2027.

This position plays a key role in supporting the wellbeing and learning needs of students through assessment, consultation, and collaborative planning. The Psychologist will work closely with the Director of Learning Adjustment, teachers, and support staff to ensure each student can access the curriculum and thrive within an inclusive learning environment.

The days and hours of work are to be negotiated, totalling 15.2 hours per week (0.40 FTE).

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting psychological assessments to support the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) process.
  • Completing assessments and reports for VCAA Special Examination Provisions.
  • Providing evidence-based recommendations to inform educational planning and student support.
  • Participating in Student Support Group (SSG) meetings and assisting with Personal Learning Plans (PLPs).
  • Consulting with and supporting teachers to build capacity in meeting diverse learning needs.
  • Maintaining accurate, confidential records and complying with all Child Safety and College policies.

The successful candidate will have the following experience, skills and attributes:

  • Full registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Psychology (preferably Educational and Developmental Psychology or equivalent).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with staff, students, and families.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and maintain confidentiality.
  • High attention to detail and strong report-writing and record-keeping skills.
  • A demonstrated commitment to child safety and inclusive education.
