VCE Product Design (Wood) Teacher – Long Service Leave Replacement

About the Role:

We are partnering with a leading independent school to recruit an enthusiastic VCE Product Design (Wood) teacher to deliver engaging and high-quality learning experiences for students from Year 7 to Year 12. This is a long service leave replacement contract commencing Monday 20 April and concluding Friday 26 June 2026.

The successful candidate will be passionate about Product Design (Wood) and committed to inspiring students to achieve their personal and academic best.

Key Responsibilities:

• Role model and inspire a passion for Product Design (Wood) in all students.
• Implement teaching strategies based on a sound understanding of students’ physical, social, and intellectual development to enhance learning outcomes.
• Contribute to the academic growth of students using data-informed practices.
• Actively participate in teacher performance and development programs.
• Establish and maintain respectful, collaborative relationships with parents and carers regarding student learning and wellbeing.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Demonstrated skill and interest in teaching Product Design (Wood).
• Excellent written, verbal, and time management skills.
• Knowledge and understanding of current best practice in education.
• Ability to create a welcoming, safe, and productive classroom environment.
