A unique opportunity has been created for a Principal to lead Gawler Lutheran Schools to remain a thriving educational leader in the rapidly growing and developing Gawler region. Reporting to the Board, the Principal’s key responsibilities include:

• providing faith-aligned educational leadership that embodies, models and promotes the Christ-centred Lutheran values and ethos of the School;
• leading, motivating and developing high performing educational, operational and support staff, with a strong focus on wellbeing across the school community;
• building deep, authentic relationships with staff, students, parents, key stakeholders and the wider community;
• developing and implementing curriculum enhancements and achieving strategic objectives through structured planning processes;
• overseeing the development and maintenance of contemporary educational facilities while ensuring sound governance of financial and physical resources.

Applications are invited from experienced educational leaders with exceptional leadership, communication and strategic planning skills, along with strong business acumen. Candidates must demonstrate a clear vision, creative thinking and the capacity to identify and pursue innovative opportunities that enhance learning and advance the strategic objectives of the school. Exceptional relationship skills, warmth, empathy, contemporary pedagogical credibility and a genuine affinity with the ethos of Gawler Lutheran Schools will be important. Accredited as a teacher and leader in Lutheran schools, you must be eligible for registration as a teacher in South Australia and hold appropriate academic credentials relevant to the role, such as postgraduate administration or management qualifications.
