Founded in 1962 by the Sisters of Mercy, St Pius X continues their proud tradition of service, inclusion, and faith in action. Today, the school is part of the Star of the Sea Parish and is a welcoming and vibrant community of around 250 students, supported by a dedicated staff team of 45.

St Pius X Parish School was begun by the Mercy Sisters in 1962 to serve the rapidly growing development of West Warrnambool. Although a relatively new community, our school has a rich history of involvement in the area and is well respected throughout the region. Our school is situated upon a large allotment on Morriss Rd some 3 kms from the city centre.

With student numbers steady at around 240, we are well resourced with a strong sense of community and pastoral care being our hallmark.
