About the Role
We are currently seeking collaborative and dedicated teachers to join our growing team at the Mambourin Campus in 2026 in the below areas:
- Primary Years Teachers – teaching across Prep to Year 3
- Primary Arts Teacher (Part-time)
As a Classroom Teacher, you will report directly to the principal and be primarily responsible for:
- Supporting the well-being and holistic development of each student in your care.
- Delivering the Australian Curriculum through the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework (PYP for primary) using contemporary, evidence-based teaching practices.
As a Primary Arts Teacher, you will be primarily responsible for:
- Supporting the creativity, confidence, and holistic development of each student through engagement in the visual and/or performing arts.
- Collaborating with classroom teachers and other specialists to integrate the Arts meaningfully across the curriculum.
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages exploration, self-expression, and artistic growth.
Selection Criteria
- VIT - Teacher’s registration to teach in Victoria
- Qualifications supporting, and experience in, teaching the relevant subjects
- Commitment to the Christian Ethos of the College
- Have excellent relationship and communication skills

Good News Lutheran College is located in the suburb Tarneit, in the City of Wyndham which continues to be ranked as the fastest growing Local Government area within Victoria and the third fastest in Australia. Its estimated population by 2021 is expected to exceed 245,000, with 384,000 anticipated by 2036. Good News is located approximately 25 minutes west of Melbourne and 40 minutes northeast of the City of Greater Geelong. The College was established in 1997 and has been steadily increasing in size each year, reaching an anticipated capacity of 1500 by 2027. Current enrolments are 960 students spread across Prep to Year 12, in Junior (P - 5), Middle (6 - 9) and Senior (10 - 12) Sub-Schools, Good News commenced Middle Schooling education in 2011 with Year 7, began its Senior School (Year 10) in 2014 and progressed to its first Year 12 in 2016.
