An exciting opportunity exists for teachers who are interested in joining a dynamic and multicultural school, located in the growing area of Cranbourne North.

St Therese’s Primary School is situated in Cranbourne North. Inspired by St Therese’s belief that even the smallest act of love is large in the eyes of Jesus and her commitment to do the simple things extraordinarily well, our school is committed to valuing young people and their development as persons with a lifelong love of learning. It caters to students and their families from a diverse range of cultures and faiths. Over 35 nationalities are represented, creating a unique and special place. Staff work tirelessly to produce excellent educational outcomes for students.

We are seeking a full time teacher. This fixed term position will commence on January 27, 2026 and end on January 26, 2027. The position falls under the Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited Schools and Secretariat Agreement 2022. Graduate or experienced teachers are welcome to apply.

Successful applicants are encouraged to have:

  • the ability to use data to inform evidence-based teaching,
  • the capacity to implement strategies to achieve targets related to student learning outcomes,
  • the ability to monitor, evaluate and report student progress in key learning areas,
  • the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents,
  • the ability to work within a collaborative team.

The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children. All teachers are welcome to apply (experienced teachers and graduates, Catholic and non-Catholic) and will be supported to understand and enact the Catholic ethos.

Applicants should hold:

  • current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
  • Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School is an advantage.

The interview process may commence prior to the closing date and, if a suitable applicant is found, the role may close early. We encourage applications for the vacancy to be submitted as soon as possible.

St Therese's Primary School is a child safe school and as such, complies with all aspects and legal obligations that relate to the Child Safe Standards, committing to the safety, wellbeing and protection of children in our care.
