The Opportunity
Heritage College Knox is offering a position for a full time Year 5/6 teacher. This is an ongoing position for 2026 and beyond. (FTE 1.0)

The College is divided into a Junior School (Years K-4), a Middle School (Years 5-8) and Senior School (Years 9-12) providing a pathway through the stages of childhood to young adulthood.

The College is located in Ferntree Gully with easy access by car or public transport.
Requirements
- VIT Accreditation or eligibility to gain approval to teach K-6 in Victoria, Australia.
- Demonstrated ability to foster positive learning outcomes in literacy and numeracy.
- Capacity to support student wellbeing and the College’s Christian values.
- Skills to create a positive and purposeful learning environment with a sound understanding of behavioural management strategies that promote learning.
- Ability to modify programs to provide an engaging differentiated program to meet the needs of a range of learning needs.
- Capacity to work both independently, and to contribute as part of team.
- Willingness to contribute to whole school and extracurricular activities, including camps and college events, in order to promote a positive culture within the school.
