St Joseph's Catholic College Katherine is a co-educational, inclusive College, catering for students from Transition to Year 12. We are looking for an experienced primary teacher to join our team at St Joseph's Catholic College, Katherine. You will deliver the Australian Curriculum from Transition to Year 6, and we are also interested in hearing from teachers with Middle Years' experience.

As part of our dynamic team, you will collaborate with other teachers to plan and deliver high-quality Australian Curriculum programs. Visible Learning, Data Driven Practice, Digital Pedagogy, differentiated teaching, and Integrated Learning are all key features of our Teaching and Learning program.

Essential criteria for this role include:

• Commitment to working within the Catholic Ethos
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• Current Ochre Card (or ability to obtain)
• Northern Territory Teacher Registration (or ability to obtain)
• Australian Citizenship

About the Role:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging learning experiences aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
• Develop and implement inclusive, evidence-based teaching and learning programs.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
• Contribute to the mission and Catholic ethos of your school and CENT.
• Engage with families and the broader community to support student learning and wellbeing.

St Joseph's is a Catholic College, founded in 1987, and situated in Katherine, approximately 3 hours south of Darwin. The College is a co-educational day school providing quality Catholic education from Transition to Year 12. It also offers education to children 3-5 years old in its Early Learning Centre.
