About Our School

Marist Catholic College North Shore (MCCNS), is a coeducational K-12 Catholic Secondary School in the Archdiocese of Sydney, imbuing the faith life, values, work ethic and pragmatism of St Marcellin Champagnat.

The College is seeking a highly skilled and committed Primary Classroom Teacher to start on Monday 20 July (Term 3, 2026). We welcome applications from recent graduates as well. This is a temporary maternity leave cover commencing in Term 3 for a maximum period of 12 months.

About You

As a Primary Classroom Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You'll bring:

  • expertise in developing a K-6 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies
  • strong classroom management and student well-being focus
  • ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences
  • a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation
  • Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
