Personal Assistant to Senior Leadership - Education Sector

Veritas Education is working with a forward‑thinking educational setting seeking an experienced and highly professional Personal Assistant. This is a key role within the organisation, requiring an individual who can deliver outstanding administrative, organisational and strategic support at the highest level.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring school leaders are able to focus on driving strategic priorities and continuous improvement. You will be central to maintaining the smooth running of leadership operations by overseeing core administrative functions, managing high‑level communications, and supporting the effective organisation of key school business activities. The successful candidate should have experience of working within a school or educational setting.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Provide exceptional, high‑level professional support to the Executive Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team on a day‑to‑day basis
• Demonstrate confidence in managing complex issues, using strong problem‑solving skills and communicating effectively with staff at all levels
• Deliver a reliable, efficient and well‑organised administrative service across key school business operations
• Take ownership of diary management, resource coordination and workflow planning to ensure leadership functions run smoothly and efficiently
• Handle challenging enquiries, complaints and sensitive communications with professionalism, composure and a calm, solutions‑focused approach
• Work independently with strong organisational ability, showing initiative, discretion and a proactive mindset
• Support and uphold safeguarding practices, contributing to the promotion of a safe and secure environment for all students
