Veritas Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Kirklees to recruit a passionate and dedicated PE Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner to join a supportive department committed to delivering high-quality physical education and promoting student wellbeing.

The Role

As a PE Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 advantageous)
• Plan and assess in line with the national curriculum and school expectations
• Support students in developing physical, social and emotional skills
• Contribute to extracurricular sport and enrichment activities
• Work collaboratively within a well-established department

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a candidate who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Has experience teaching PE within a UK secondary school setting
• Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Is committed to raising attainment and promoting a love of physical education
• Has a proactive and adaptable approach to teaching and learning

Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.
