About this Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Junior School, the P-6 PDHPE Teacher will deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs across the Junior Campus. The successful candidate will be an exceptional classroom practitioner who combines strong curriculum knowledge with a genuine commitment to student wellbeing and growth
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and innovative PDHPE programs for students across P-6.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel known, valued and supported.
- Use assessment and data effectively to support student growth and development.
- Differentiate learning to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Collaboratively plan and contribute to best-practice teaching programs.
- Build strong partnerships with colleagues, parents and carers.
- Integrate technology meaningfully to enhance teaching, learning and administration.
- Actively engage in professional learning and reflective practice
About You
You will be a passionate educator who demonstrates:
- A strong understanding of current NSW curriculum requirements and contemporary pedagogical practice.
- Proven expertise in teaching PDHPE and promoting physical and health literacy.
- The ability to inspire a love of learning and active participation among students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A collaborative and proactive approach to working within a dynamic school environment.
- A commitment to student wellbeing, respectful relationships education and child safety.
- Confidence in using technology to support teaching and learning.
Essential Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education.
- A current NSW Working With Children Check.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering high-quality PDHPE programs.
- Strong knowledge of NSW curriculum and assessment practices.
- Ability to differentiate learning and create inclusive educational experiences.
