We are seeking a dynamic, experienced and passionate Outside School Hours Care Coordinator to lead our Catholic College’s After School Care, Vacation Care and potentially Before School Care services.

The successful applicant must possess leadership skills, communicate effectively and work with the principal and leadership team of the College.

Essential Criteria:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
• Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis or the ability to obtain
• Ochre Card or the ability to obtain
• Mandatory Reporting and Safeguarding Essentials Certificates or the ability to obtain
• Commitment to supporting and contributing to the Catholic Ethos

Desirable Criteria:

• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Law and National Regulations, including compliance
• Knowledge of and implementation of My Time Our Place Framework.
• Ability and experience in providing quality outside school care programs and assessments that meet the needs, interests and abilities of children 5 - 12 years
• Demonstrated effective team leadership skills
• Management and organisation skills
• Flexible and approachable

Salary will be based on experience and qualifications. Commencement date 27.1.26

St Joseph's is a Catholic College, founded in 1987, and situated in Katherine, approximately 3 hours south of Darwin. The College is a co-educational day school providing quality Catholic education from Transition to Year 12. It also offers education to children 3-5 years old in its Early Learning Centre. The College is set on 16 hectares with modern buildings and landscaped gardens. The College currently has an enrolment of approximately 300 students and 55 staff members.
