Outside School Hours Care Assistant

Casual hours - before and after school shifts (10 hours per week on average, increased up to 38 hours per week for Vacation Care)

Do you have the following…

• Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services (or similar qualification) or working towards attainment, or
• Working towards a certificate or tertiary qualification such as Education, Nursing etc.
• Experience in OSHC or Vacation care preferably in a School environment (preferred)
• Certificate - CPR
• Certificate - First Aid

• Can use the Microsoft Office suite with the ability to learn.
• Understands the ‘My Time Our Place’ framework and can apply it.
• Is reliable, flexible and demonstrates tact and discretion.
• Demonstrates initiative and flexibility.
• Has the ability to work towards a centre of excellence.
• Can assist with the planning, implementation, and evaluation of a high-quality program, this includes contributing to the QIP.
• Willing to undertake the Responsible Person role in the Nominated Supervisor's absence.
