Role Description/Criteria
As the Numeracy Leader, you will:
- Lead the development and implementation of high-quality Mathematics programs across the school.
- Work collaboratively with staff to improve student outcomes in Numeracy through effective data analysis and evidence-based strategies.
- Support and coach teachers in the use of best-practice pedagogies in Mathematics.
- Promote a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement in Numeracy.
- Foster a learning environment that reflects the Catholic ethos and supports the vision of St Dominic’s.
The Successful Applicant Will Have:
- Current registration with the relevant teaching authority VIT.
- Accreditation to teach in a Catholic school (or willingness to obtain).
- Proven experience in leading or significantly contributing to numeracy improvement initiatives.
- Strong understanding of the Mathematics curriculum and contemporary educational research.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A commitment to working in partnership with staff, students, and families in a faith-filled learning environment.
- Demonstrate a commitment to our Child Safe policies and procedures.
