Music Teacher - Permanent Full-Time Georges River Grammar School has an exciting opportunity for a passionate and suitably qualified Music Teacher to join our innovative Performing Arts Department full-time commencing Term 1 2026.

Music Teachers are responsible for designing and delivering innovative teaching programs aligned to the School’s values, policies, and practices. The study of music’s forms, styles and ideas enables young people to develop an interest in appreciation and enjoyment of music. Through critical reflection and acquiring understanding, knowledge and skills, students respond by creatively developing their own musical ideas, compositions, and performances.

We seek a teacher who:

• Is confident in teaching Music across Year 7-12.
• Has a passion for conducting music groups and participating in as well as running music ensembles.
• Has an excellent understanding of NESA syllabus requirements and current NESA accreditation.
• Is a positive and collaborative contributor to a successful department and is committed to improving educational outcomes.
• Is confident in differentiating the curriculum in the classroom.
• Is committed to supporting student wellbeing
