We’re looking for a passionate, innovative and collaborative Middle School Teacher who can bring enthusiasm to teaching Maths/Science and provide engaging Pastoral Care to help shape the lives of our students. This is a unique opportunity to stir curiosity and passion for learning while caring deeply for the holistic wellbeing and formation of young people in a supportive Christian environment.

As a Middle School Teacher, you will:

• Teach core subjects including Mathematics, Science, Health, and Scripture in alignment with the Australian Curriculum (ACARA).
• Provide pastoral care and leadership for Middle School students, building a safe, connected, and Christ-centred classroom community where students feel known and valued.
• Design engaging learning experiences that encourage curiosity, active participation, and a love for learning.
• Inspire students to think critically, reflect deeply, and grow in their capacity to collaborate and persevere.

Essential qualities:

• Demonstrated passion and expertise in teaching across multiple learning areas (Years 7–9).
• A deep care for guiding and mentoring Middle School students, with the ability to build strong relationships.
• Commitment to designing learning that is engaging, challenging, and responsive to the needs of diverse learners.
• Capacity to integrate Christian faith into teaching and relationships with students.
• Willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and families to support learning and wellbeing.
• A sincere commitment to Jesus Christ, the philosophy of Christian Education, and regular church attendance.
