About You
St Mary's Cathedral College Sydney is seeking to appoint an experienced and passionate Mathematics Teacher. This is a full-time, ongoing position, commencing Term 1, 2026.
Essential Criteria
- the ability to teach Stages 4, 5 and 6 Mathematics and demonstrated experience working with Secondary School students to produce high-quality academic outcomes
- suitable tertiary qualifications in Mathematics/NESA accreditation and the ability to teach Stage 6 Mathematics, Standard 2 and Mathematics Advanced would be an advantage
- experience in developing quality enrichment Mathematic programs, including a focus on STEM
- dynamic and innovative skills as a practitioner of Mathematics with exemplary classroom practice and classroom management skills
- confidence in differentiating the curriculum to meet the diverse learning needs of the students
- good interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for working collaboratively as a team member
- confidence with the integration of technology into the curriculum to promote quality learning principles
- an understanding and an ability to support the Catholic life of the College.
