St Joseph's Catholic College, East Gosford is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Mathematics Classroom Teacher. This is a temporary, part-time (0.7FTE) opportunity to commence Term 1, 2026 & conclude at the end of the school year.

Specific Criteria
- Highly effective, skilled classroom practitioner committed to the ethos of the Catholic School
- Demonstrated ability to teach Mathematics through to Stages 4 and 5
- Experience and ability in teaching Stage 6 Mathematics is highly desirable, though not essential
- Capacity to contribute to the school’s Continuous Improvement Cycle and is committed to student achievement
- Proven ability to apply sound pedagogical practices to create a motivating and engaging learning environment that caters to the needs of all learners
- Skilled in analysing and reflecting on student learning data to ensure learning growth for all students;
- Highly effective in managing and facilitating safe and supportive learning environments with an understanding of positive student welfare practices
- Willingness to contribute to the broader extracurricular aspects of school life as an active member of the school community
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic professional learning community.
- Proficient in the use of technology to enhance student learning
- Applicants who are not currently working in a Broken Bay systemic school must have a 4 year training qualification or be enrolled to undertake further study that will provide them with a four year trained qualification to be eligible to apply for any teaching position in the Diocese.
