The College is currently seeking a suitably qualified and passionate Marketing Manager to join the staff of Lakeside College from 2026 and beyond.

Organisational Relationship:Responsible to the Business Manager

Employment Basis: Permanent, Ongoing, Commencing mid-January, 2026

Location: Pakenham, VIC 3810

Classification: Lutheran Education Victoria, New South Wales, Tasmania, Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2018 and the National Employment Standards.

Lakeside College is a Prep to 12 co-educational Christian school in the Lutheran tradition. Situated in Pakenham, a picturesque suburb and easy drive to the south-east of the Melbourne CBD, the College campus boasts excellent facilities in pleasant surroundings. Partnerships with local organisations give access to impressive arts and sports venues.

Context

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Marketing Manager to join the staff team of Lakeside College, commencing mid-January 2026.

The Marketing Manager plays a key role in serving the Lakeside College community by developing, implementing, and managing the College's marketing and communication strategies. The position aims to enhance the College's profile and reputation while supporting student enrolment growth.

Key Selection Criteria

The applicant for the position is required to provide evidence of:

• An active Christian faith and willingness to uphold the ethos of the Lutheran Church of Australia
• A high level of understanding of the role marketing plays in driving enrolments
• Previous experience in leading School Marketing
• Tertiary qualifications in marketing or a related field (desirable)
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with an ability to prioritise tasks, meet prescribed deadlines, and concurrently manage a number of competing tasks
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to build rapport and interact effectively at all levels of an organisation
• Exemplary English language skills, including grammar, spelling and punctuation
• Highly developed skills in desktop publishing
• Ability to work with databases
• Experience working across social media platforms
• Basic skills in photography, as appropriate for images for publication
• Experience working with media outlets
• A current working with children’s check and Police check, or the ability to gain one
