About the role
The Logistics Support Officer delivers efficient, customer-focused support to keep the Cleaning Services team running smoothly. The role drives logistics, inventory, and equipment movement to ensure cleaning operations meet service standards. Some of the things you will be responsible for include:
- Maintaining accurate stock, timely delivery, and asset records
- Coordinating timely supply of materials to cleaning sites
- Checking and verifying incoming deliveries against orders
- Supporting continuous improvement and effective cleaning service delivery

About you
You are a proactive and reliable team player who takes pride in customer service and delivering efficient administrative support. You have strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to balance multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. We are looking for someone who can:
- Deliver customer-focused service excellence
- Use technology effectively to manage stock and records
- Stay organised, meet deadlines, and deliver quality results
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel to site locations.
- Current and valid Forklift licence with high reach experience.
- Current and valid Working with Children Check Clearance for paid employment.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
