Location: Southwark, South London Start Date: January 2026 Pay: £95 - £115 per day

Veritas Education is working with a warm, inclusive, and well-regarded primary school in Southwark to recruit a committed and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team from January 2026.

This OFSTED-rated 'Good' school is celebrated for its supportive ethos, strong leadership, and dedication to ensuring every child reaches their full potential. As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO, providing high-quality support through one-to-one, small-group, and whole-class assistance. You will play a key role in helping pupils engage in learning, develop confidence, and make progress both academically and socially.

This position is ideal for a patient, proactive, and nurturing individual who is passionate about supporting children within an inclusive and engaging school environment.

The Ideal Level 3 Teaching Assistant Will Have:

• A Level 3 qualification in EYFS, Childcare, or Teaching & Learning (essential)
• Proven experience supporting children within a primary school or early years environment
• Strong understanding of strategies that promote learning, communication, and positive behaviour
• Patience, empathy, and resilience when supporting pupils with additional needs
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families

Main Responsibilities Include:

• Delivering high-quality 1:1 and small-group interventions
• Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering differentiated activities
• Supporting pupils' academic, social, emotional, and behavioural development
• Using creative and engaging strategies to support learning and improve outcomes
