Emmanuel Anglican College is seeking a full time Legal Studies and HSIE teacher to join our team in 2026.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The College is seeking an enthusiastic and committed educator to teach Stage 5 and 6 Legal Studies and Years 7-10 HSIE. The ability to teach other Stage 6 HSIE subjects would also be an advantage. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, innovative learning experiences that motivate students to reach their full potential.
This role is a permanent full time position commencing in January 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Thorough knowledge of students and how they learn.
- An extensive knowledge of content and the ability to teach it effectively.
- Plan for and implement effective teaching and learning.
- Create and maintain supportive and safe learning environments.
- Proven ability to assess, provide feedback and report on student learning.
- Engage in professional learning and work productively with colleagues, parents/caregivers and the community.
- Actively support the ethos of the College.
Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent knowledge of NSW Syllabuses, assessment and reporting requirements, thorough understanding of student welfare matters, dedication to the profession of teaching.
- Good interpersonal skills, excellent organisational skills, ability to work effectively as a team member and willingness to contribute to the College’s co-curricular programs.
- Innovative, passionate and experienced educator with an understanding of how students learn and the ability to create classroom environments that engage and meet the needs of learners.
- Demonstrated capacity to work with a team and a desire to grow professionally.
- NSW Teacher Accreditation and a current WWCC.
