St Carlo Acutis Catholic Primary School, Wollert West, is seeking caring and dedicated Learning Support Officers to join our growing community in 2026. Working alongside teachers, LSOs will provide support for students from Foundation to Year Six, assisting with personalised learning, small group work, and classroom engagement. This part-time role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping children thrive, value inclusion, and are committed to building a welcoming Catholic school community.

St Carlo Acutis Catholic Primary School is a new and growing school community in Wollert West that commenced operating at the start of this year. In 2026, we will welcome students across all year levels from Foundation to Year Six, and we are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Officers (LSOs) to join our team on a part-time basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a thriving school community where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to learn.

About the Role

As a Learning Support Officer, you will:

• Work collaboratively with classroom teachers to support the learning and wellbeing of students.
• Assist in implementing personalised learning programs for students with additional needs.
• Provide small group and one-on-one support to enhance student engagement and achievement.
• Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all learners.
• Support the Catholic ethos and values of our school community.

About You

We are looking for individuals who are:

• Passionate about supporting children in their learning journey.
• Patient, caring, and committed to building positive relationships with students.
• Flexible, proactive, and able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Respectful of confidentiality and professional in their approach.
• Supportive of the vision and values of Carlo Acutis Catholic Primary School.

Experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable, and relevant qualifications (such as a Certificate III in Education Support) will be highly regarded.
