We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher Assistants to join our community in an ongoing capacity.

Position 1: 0.67 FTE Ongoing Position

30 hours per week

8:30 am – 3:00 pm Monday – Friday

Position 2:0.4 FTE Ongoing Position

18 hours per week

8:30 am – 3:00 pm Wednesday – Friday

Position 3:0.49 FTE Ongoing Position

22 hours per week

9:00 am – 3:00 pm Monday – Thursday

Position 4:0.37 FTE Ongoing Position

16.5 hours per week

9:00 am – 3:00 pm (3 days per week, days to be negotiated)

Position 5:0.37 FTE Ongoing Position

16.5 hours per week

9:00 am – 3:00 pm (3 days per week, days to be negotiatied)

Commencement 1st February 2026

About our College:

Sacred Heart College is a Kindergarten to Year 10 Co-educational Catholic College based on the charism of the Sisters of St Joseph, located in the central Hobart suburb of New Town.

As a Josephite College with an enrolment of over 990 students, we work to provide our students with a well-rounded Catholic education, encouraging a life-long love of learning.

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher Assistants to join our community in an ongoing capacity.

To be eligible applicants require:

  • Valid Working with Vulnerable People Registration (Tasmania);
  • Certificate III in Education Support and/or equivalent experience;
  • A willingness to work in a team environment; and
  • A demonstrated genuine commitment to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2024.
