Role Description/Criteria
Mary Immaculate Primary School is a fabulous, small and growing school in the heart of Ivanhoe. As our School Vision states, we are 'a dynamic and caring community, committed to enacting our faith; inspiring, challenging and engaging lifelong learners'.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and motivated Learning Support Officer (LSO), who is passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs. The successful applicant will be required to work 67.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday 8.45am-3.30pm. The successful applicant will be required to commence work beginning Monday 9 February, 2025.
The successful applicant will:

- be committed to ongoing professional learning and development
- contribute positively to our learning environment where all staff and students are respected, engaged, supported and valued
- under the direction of the Diversity and Wellbeing Leader and classroom teachers, implement strategies and explicit instruction programs that effectively cater for a diverse range of learning needs.

Special Requirements
- current Working With Children Check and National Police Check
- Certificate III or higher in Education Support is preferred, as is knowledge or experience with Little Learners Love Literacy explicit instruction program
- recent experience in working with young students with disabilities or diverse learning needs
