About Our School
Mount St Joseph Catholic College was opened in 1960 in answer to a desperate need for a Catholic girls’ secondary school in south-western Sydney. The spirit in which this need was met for the people living in and around Milperra was the same spirit which animated Mary MacKillop, Australia’s first saint, whose life was lived in response to the needs of her day.
At Mount St Joseph Catholic College Milperra our strong history of academic excellence is achieved through our achievements as a community. Gratefully nourishing growth through inclusion, empowerment and living the Josephite charism. Our outstanding educators regularly undertake professional development, striving to ensure that our students achieve their best.
Inclusive learning environments promote wellbeing, courage to explore STEM subjects and leadership opportunities while growing in confidence for life. Empowering our students, growing trust that “MSJ Girls can do anything!”
