Learning Support Assistant

Holy Cross Primary School, Kincumber is currently seeking a passionate Learning Support Assistant. The successful candidate will be suitably qualified and enjoy working in a dynamic and cohesive team.

This is a 12-month temporary, part-time opportunity (19 hours per fortnight) to commence Term 1, 2026. During this engagement, the successful candidate will be require to work Wednesday - Friday.

Specific Criteria

• Learning Support Assistance experience preferred
• Demonstrated commitment to student well-being and child safety
• Capability to work cooperatively within a team environment
• Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships
• Effective organisational skills and the ability to be able to multi-task and work efficiently
• Acts professionally and maintains confidentiality
• Demonstrated ability to exercise independent initiative and judgement when required
• Honest, reliable and a high standard of integrity
• A current Working with Children Check
• Proficient in the use of technology to enhance student learning
• Willingness to contribute to the broader extracurricular aspects of school life as an active member of the school community

Holy Cross Catholic School, Kincumber was established in 1991. Three stages of the schools building project have since been completed with another stage under construction. The school is situated on the Central Coast, it has a current enrolment of approximately 281 students. The Vision Statement of the school is to nurture the Catholic Faith, develop the whole person, exercise authentic leadership, and create strong links with the community by endeavouring to provide appropriate resources.
