Job Description
Mount Scopus Memorial College is a co-educational Jewish School from Early Learning to Year 12 across three campuses; St Kilda East, Caulfield South and Burwood.
The College is seeking to appoint a part-time Learning Assistant to be part of our Secondary Student Services Team at our Lew Family Secondary School located in Burwood. The position available is a permanent (0.80) part-time employment position working Monday to Friday during school hours commencing on 27 January 2026 (beginning of Term 1, 2026)
The primary role of the Learning Assistant is to support students in mainstream classes to access the curriculum and achieve success at their level of ability. The successful candidate must have knowledge of, and experience working with, students with learning difficulties.
Applicants:
- should have experience working in a similar environment and/or position. This is preferred but not essential
- must have a sound understanding of the Child Safe Standards and a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children
- must hold a current Working with Children Check.
