Veritas Education Leeds is recruiting an experienced and passionate Lead Early Years Educator to join a welcoming, well‑established nursery in South Leeds. About the Role

As the Lead Early Years Educator, you'll play a key role in shaping the learning environment, supporting staff, and ensuring children receive exceptional care and education. You'll lead by example, inspire your team, and help create a warm, stimulating and inclusive space where every child can thrive.

What We're Looking For

• Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (essential)
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS and best practice
• Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
• Confident in leading a room or supporting a team
• Passionate, proactive and committed to high‑quality childcare
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

Key Responsibilities

• Leading the planning and delivery of engaging, child‑centred activities
• Supporting and mentoring practitioners within your room
• Ensuring a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment
• Building strong relationships with children, families and colleagues
• Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, wellbeing and EYFS practice
