Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or postgraduate certificate in education, with a background in early years education and a passion for nurturing young learners.

Kidz Village International Kindergarten (Bangkok,Thailand) is now recruiting for the position of Lead Class Teacher for one of our kindergarten classes, post commencing August 2026.

We cater to children aged 12 months to 6 years, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, enriched through The Project Approach to support inquiry-based and child-centred learning.

The Lead Class Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering a high-quality early years program that supports each child’s development in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. The role includes leading the classroom, working collaboratively with teaching assistants, and building strong relationships with families.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons in line with the EYFS framework
• Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
• Observe, assess, and document children’s learning and development
• Lead and support classroom assistants/teachers effectively
• Foster strong communication and partnerships with parents
• Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and emotional care of all students
• Contribute to school events, activities, and the wider school community

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (PGCE or equivalent preferred)
• Background in Early Years Education (study and/or relevant work experience)
• Sound knowledge of child development and early learning practices
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• A caring, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to teaching young children
