About the Role
This is a significant leadership position responsible for providing strategic direction across the Languages Domain. The successful applicant will guide curriculum development, support staff, and lead ongoing innovation within the languages program.
Key aspects include:
- Leading the Languages faculty, fostering a culture of collaboration, high expectations, and continuous improvement
- Overseeing curriculum planning, assessment, and program development
- Teaching VET Italian and delivering the relevant TAE components
- Supporting staff professional learning and mentoring
- Contributing to whole-school initiatives and the Catholic ethos of the college
Requirements
- Registration with (or eligibility for) the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
- Qualification and demonstrated experience in teaching VET Italian and delivering TAE components
- Strong organisational, communication, and instructional leadership capability
