Your New Role

The classroom teacher is the major in-school influence on student achievement and plays the key role of facilitating effective learning and teaching. The first function of the classroom teacher is to be an effective member of a collaborative team of colleagues who work to put student learning and wellbeing first.

Essential Criteria

• Accreditation to teach RE in the Wagga Diocese (or willingness to obtain) and a commitment to the Catholic faith
• Ability to develop and deliver a differentiated curriculum reflecting the use of data and quality assessment practices
• Experience with collaborative or team teaching
• Demonstrate strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively
• Ability to develop positive relationships with students, staff, parents and the wider community
• Able to effectively manage behaviour positively and restoratively
• Previous Experience in teaching kindergarten
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current NESA Accreditation
• Accreditation for Teachers in a Catholic School (Category B, Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools, Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga) or working towards Accreditation.
