The School has an exemplary Chaplaincy program and is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Christian educator to join our team of committed and professional staff. This role could be part-time by negotiation.
Who will the successful applicant be?- An authentic Christian life, lived with integrity
- Theological training at Diploma level or above
- Experience at working with young people, preferably in a school setting and ideally through teacher training and experience
- Ability to teach, lead, engage, communicate and connect the Gospel of Jesus with students K-6
- Ability to work collaboratively with others in design and implementation of Chapel programs and Christian Development classroom curriculum.
- Capacity to deal with issues of apologetics related to blockers of faith, commonly expressed by adolescents
- Ability to review Christian Development and oversee Christian integration across K-6
- Willingness to work beyond school hours, including co-curricular
