Peace Lutheran College is seeking an enthusiastic Industrial Technology & Design Teacher to join our teaching team in beautiful tropical North Queensland.

About the Role
The College is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Industrial Technology & Design Teacher to join the Secondary School teaching team. Experience or education in Manual Arts including Woodwork, Metalwork, and/or Furnishing Skills is required. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for both experienced educators and enthusiastic new graduates to make a positive impact on students' lives.
The successful applicant will be passionate about delivering a quality and engaging hands-on learning experience to our Secondary School students and be able to demonstrate their capacity and willingness to engage with the Christian ethos of our College.
Criteria:
- Experience teaching Industrial Technology and Design specialising in Woodwork to secondary students
- Hold a relevant teaching qualification and current teaching registration
- Experience in the provision of quality relevant curriculum programs
- Highly developed classroom teaching skills
- Commitment to upholding Christian values and ethos
- Ability to work in a team to achieve identified outcomes and sustained performance
- Demonstrated well-developed interpersonal skills, time management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication
- Applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia to be considered for this position
