About You
We are seeking a committed and experienced full-time HSIE Teacher to join our College for a temporary Term 4 position to cover a period of parental leave. This position involves delivering engaging HSIE lessons, fostering strong academic growth, and contributing positively to the department during the final term of the academic year within a Catholic learning environment. You'll bring:
- expertise in HSIE, with experience in teaching Junior History/Geography and Modern History advantageous
- strong classroom management and student well-being focus
- ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences
- a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation
- skills and commitment to working with students through a positive approach to behaviour management
- strong interpersonal skills that facilitate collaboration and quality relationships in working with others.
