HSIE Teacher For Term 3, 2026 to cover staff on leave. The role is being offered on a temporary fixed term full-time basis for Term 3 of 2026.

The College is currently recruiting for the role of a HSIE teacher within the Secondary school.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

Deliver high-quality, engaging, and differentiated learning experiences for all students
Integrate Maronite Catholic ethos, values, and Gospel teachings into daily learning and school life
Actively contribute to the spiritual, academic, social, and emotional development of students
Use effective assessment practices to monitor student progress and inform teaching
Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and families to enhance student learning and wellbeing
Participate in school liturgies, celebrations, and community events
Experience in teaching Senior Ancient History

Australian Teaching qualifications and previous Australian teaching experience
A current NESA accreditation
A current NSW Working with Children Check for paid employment
Demonstrated administrative skills, with high level of flexibility and adaptability and ability to prioritise and work as part of a team
Demonstrated ability in integrating ICT in the classroom
Experience in using engaging and relevant learning experiences
Experience teaching in mixed ability classrooms
Thorough understanding and experience in applying formative and summative practices to assess student learning
