We are looking for a teacher who can inspire students, develop strong historical thinking, and prepare them confidently for success in the NSW HSC.
About the Role
- Teach small-group HSC History classes (Years 11–12)
- Prepare students for school assessments and the HSC examination
- Teach essay writing, source analysis, and historical interpretation
- Provide detailed, constructive feedback to help students improve their analytical and writing skills
Remuneration
Competitive remuneration: $80–$100 per hour, depending on qualifications, HSC teaching experience, and class size.
Essential Requirements
- Current or previous teaching experience in an Australian school.
- Experience teaching NSW Stage 6 History (Modern History and/or Ancient History).
- Strong knowledge of the NSW HSC syllabus, assessment requirements, and examination expectations.
- Excellent communication and classroom teaching skills.
- A genuine passion for helping students achieve their best.
Highly Desirable
- HSC teaching experience with strong student outcomes.
- HSC marking experience.
- NESA Accreditation.
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
