Summary

Crossways Lutheran School is expanding its Middle and Senior School and is seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Education Teacher to join our growing team in 2026. Experience teaching SACE subjects will be highly regarded. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a new era of learning as we introduce Year 11 and 12 at Crossways.

The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Middle and Senior School Physical Education Teacher who will inspire students to live active, healthy, and purposeful lives. The successful applicant will teach across Years 7–12, contribute to wellbeing and extracurricular programs, and play an important part in shaping the culture and direction of our expanding Senior School.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Physical Education and related subjects across Years 7–12.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that build teamwork, skills, and lifelong participation.
• Contribute to the design and delivery of SACE Stage 1 and 2 HPE programs.
• Support school sport, interschool carnivals, and wellbeing initiatives.
• Engage in pastoral care and model the school’s Christian values.
• Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen curriculum and community connections.

What We’re Looking For

• Relevant teaching qualification and current SA teacher registration (or eligibility).
• Strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum: Health & PE (Years 7–10).
• Experience teaching SACE Health & Physical Education is highly regarded.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and engage students through inclusive practice.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to the Christian ethos and values of Lutheran education.
