Teacher of Health and Social Care

Location: Bermondsey Start Date: 2nd February (until end of March, with possibility of extension)

We are currently seeking a Teacher of Health and Social Care to join a school in Bermondsey on a fixed-term basis.

The successful candidate will have a strong working knowledge of the OCR Cambridge Technicals (CTEC) curriculum, or demonstrate the ability and commitment to develop this expertise independently. You will be responsible for teaching Years 12 and 13, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that support student progress and achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Health and Social Care lessons to post-16 students
• Assess, mark, and provide feedback on coursework in line with CTEC requirements
• Track and support student progress effectively
• Maintain high expectations for student engagement and achievement

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience teaching Health and Social Care at KS5
• Possess strong knowledge of, or willingness to upskill in, OCR Cambridge Technicals (CTEC)
• Be confident in planning lessons and assessing coursework
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills

This role is initially from 2nd February until the end of March, with the possibility of extension for the right candidate.
