The Junior School campus (R-6 years) has commenced construction, and it is anticipated to be open at the start of the 2027 school year.

About the role
The Head of the Arts Department & Drama Coordinator (Years 7-12) will be part of an exciting new chapter at Endeavour College as we move to being an R-12 campus in 2027.
In 2027 Endeavour College will be opening a purpose-built retractable Performing Arts Centre with music rooms, auditorium, Wellness Centre and custom 200 square-meter black box theatre and green room.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead the Arts Department, encompassing oversight of coordinators, staff, resources, curriculum offerings and learning outcomes. The role includes teaching Year 11 and Year 12 Drama and managing the annual College Drama production.
This position will be available from the start of Term 2, 2026 and is a full-time, permanent position.

The successful applicant will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and relevant experience
- Hold or be willing and able to obtain and maintain a current clearance to work with children (Working With Children Check (WWCC)) and Mandatory Notification Training Certificate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan, set, and prioritise work
- Ability to work well under pressure of deadlines
- Ability to lead a team to deliver appropriate and relevant programs
- Active collaboration with Head of Teaching and Learning
- Motivation and a passion to work with and support young people on their journey through secondary education
- Ability and desire to actively support the values and ethos of a Christian school.
- A practicing Christian, with the ability to relate the Gospel message to their role within the College, and encourage a spirit of Christian care amongst staff and students (highly desirable).
